Love Lives Here is a collection of vegan recipes from Greyton Animal Sanctuary volunteers, compiled by Rima Geffen. A part of the proceeds will be donated to continue the care of the animals.

Just seven kilometers outside the village of Greyton in the Western Cape of South Africa, lies a forty hectare farm animal sanctuary.

Greyton Farm Animal Sanctuary has been a leading non-profit farm animal rescue centre since it was founded in 2014 by Nicola Vernon and Rohan Millson.  It was the first centre in South Africa dedicated specifically to farm animals.   Under the care of Nicola, Rohan and their team, the sanctuary has grown to provide a safe, loving, permanent home for over 250 rescued farm animals, including pigs, sheep, cows, goats and farm birds.

Volunteers from around the world, from Azerbaijan to Zambia, spend time at the sanctuary to help with the animals’ care.  Every evening, the visiting and resident caregivers take turns to cook a shared meal and, so, this carefully curated selection of volunteers’ favourite recipes was born.

Greyton Farm Animal Sanctuary continues to connect people across the globe and to nourish volunteers with good food and life changing experiences. Personal recipes from 10 countries across the world add up to a truly unique dinner table experience.
